Hello all. Has anyone moved from Ireland to Torrevieja and who subsequently found work there? And any advice on how to buy a 2 bed property there. And how to ensure you maintain health insurance and pension from Ireland. Do you pay tax on property and pension?I am in my mid 40s wishing to work and live there permanently.

Any advice welcome. Thanks Trish

Hi Trish,

It's easy enough as an Irish citizen to move to Torre and to find a property amongst other Irish and British folk all along the coast.

The issue will be finding work as there is not a lot around and self employment looks the only viable option, unless you speak fluent Spanish and are willing to travel into Alicante.

Regards

Will.

Thanks Will. Good to know. I have Spanish but not fluent... Stay safe. Cheers
