Hi me and my partner are moving to Spain April 2021 we have looking at the Torrevieja area but are also open to suggestions.

We have 4 children 2 will be under 6 so I hope to get them into a local Spanish school to help with the transition and language my question for these 2 is.... Are there any local Spanish schools with the ability to help English students as their Spanish will be zero?

Our older children will be 13 and 14 when we move what would be best for them? Bilingual school Spanish school or an English school with adding Spanish language lessons at home.

Any knowledge or experience welcome

Thank you for reading

El Limonar International School Is situated in Villamartin and is one of Spain’s best schools. Classes are 80% in English and 20% in Spanish with at graduation both a British and Spanish diploma

Not cheap though, count on at least 750 Euro per month and per child.

Can you both prove a monthly income of ~€25,000 a year? If not, you won't qualify for long-term visas to move here - unless you have jobs in Spain and can produce employment contracts to prove that.

Hi,

I’m planning on moving my family next year, my kids will be 9,12,14. I’m planning on Spanish lessons for a year before we go and sending them to Spanish public school.
have you found out any relevant information on Torrevieja? Or anywhere else? It’s so hard to pick a place! Good luck!

Liz 😊
