Carrefour delivery

we ordered a new cooker hood and expected delivery within 48hrs. it did not arrive. we complained and they cancelled the order. got one from amazon £60 cheaper

My experience with Carrefor is they are useless for electrical goods. We ended up having to do a charge back for a mattress via the credit card company they said they had delivered but they hadn’t!!

We had lots of email saying when they would deliver and agreeing they failed etc. If you want electrical good quickly I suggest Tien21 or Conformarama we have never been let down by them and they usually deliver whilst we are out there too.

We have ordered from Alcampo, Leroy Merlin and Media Market and they all gave a delivery day and 1 hour slot and always been here on time. Not much help to you now but for future reference. I hope you get it sorted soon, things can get so frustrating here at times but worth it when everything is running smoothly. 

We have had nothing but problems with Leroy Merlin who gave a delivery date and claimed they rang and tried to deliver but they eventually admitted the delivery guy probably didn't ring when he seen a UK mobile. Long story short got our money back and made a formal complaint. Ordered bathroom suites before we came back to UK in October but when our friend went to check delivery they had cancelled our order due to non payment within 3 days which we weren't asked for when we put the order in. Basically think our name is MUD because we complained so will not be buying anything else from them. 

My only experience with delivery by Leroy Merlin was to say the least disappointing, paid €30, we only live in Montegolf (so not far away), they did deliver when they said they would but left the goods, a patio set, table and 4 chairs on the pavement, i could hardly believe my eyes.

We went to complain, waste of time, like banging your head against a wall.

I read on this forum before we bought a place in Gran Alacant that using the local companies has proved right for us.

We have used all our local shops Brico,Euronics and JYSK all have been brilliant,yes you pay a few euros more but the service is awesome,turn up on the day and time agreed
