Has anybody recently renewed a Padron in Torrevieja.   If so do you go to the Padron office or the Prop office, conflicting information on the www.   Also, what peperwork do you need to take.   Thanks in advance for any advice.   I do not have a digital certificate so need to do it in person.

Hi

We renewed ours recently in Torrevieja at the Padron Office.

You need to book an appointment online at https:torrevieja.sedelectronica.es/citaprevia.1

or phone 607822861

We found it difficult to get an appointment online and phoned a few times before we got to speak to someone, they answer with an automated message to try later and then hang up. You need to be persistent and ask in Spanish for a Cita Previa.

We took our TIE cards and passports, also a household bill, but they weren't interested in that.

We were taken in 20mins early and the process took less than 5 mins to complete.

Good luck

If you are in Almoradi, as it shows your location to be, why are you wanting to renew in Torrevieja?

Because I live in Torrevieja, I also thought I had posted this under Torrevieja not Almoradi, sorry

I renewed mine last Thursday in formentera del segura at the ayuntamiento didn't need appointment just went in and was seen right away, understand it may be different in Torrevieja.

I brought my passport, previous pardon and my apartment deeds. All done and dusted in 10 mins.

Hope you get it sorted 👍

I got fed up battering my head against a brick wall!!! My wonderful translator got me an appointment at the Town Hall in La Mata. It was very quick and I was told to go to  the Padron Office three/four weeks later and get it, No appointment needed. In a week's time I will collect it.

If I had followed the "normal route" having taken advice from a local Councillor, I would be still using my head as a bettering ram. I was told they do not have any appointments at Torrevieja.

The lack of Padron may not be so bad for many people but when you are having treatment for your heart and also Kidney Disease and cannot get appointments or medication, it becomes very important.

Comares I was wondering about La Mata Town Hall. I presume the cita previa is made for the PROP Office in La Mata. There are always appointments available when you select La Mata.

When you say you have to collect your Padron Cert is it at the PadrónOffice in  Calle Union Musical office you have to go to?

I have absolutely no idea, I was only too interested in getting the Padron up and running so I can have have my  appointments with Cardiology and my appointments with my Nefrologist Specialist and my Chronic Kidney Disease coming under control. Also access to some very expensive medication (some at least 100 Euros.)
