IPTV providers will promise everything but then supply an illegal unreliable streaming service and run with your money, avoid them.

Be very careful about IPTV, it is not all it is cracked up to be or what an installer might claim. You need a strong and stable internet connection otherwise your TV picture will freeze and you will loose channels at times. We were taken in, got no refund from our installer and had to look around for other options and got Mike at Satmart Installations ( www.satellitetvtorrevieja.com ) to install a 1.4 metre dish to provide Freesat. No premium sports channels but at least we now have TV we can view and the plus side is I have to go to the pub to watch the football. Not sure if he covers your area but contact him for a free price quotation and what you get for your money.

I use tvmucho. I get 36 uk channels including all the freeview channels itv, bbc, channel 4, channel 5 etc there is also a catch up service. I pay annually at €48 so less that €1 per week. The app is on Google play and legal.

I use IPTV as we are football addicts so we can watch matches not shown on UK tv. It is not illegal to watch through IPTV, the person providing it is doing the illegal bit!
I am 6 km from town, miles from a mast and have patchy internet sometimes but it rarely ruins things, although we do miss the odd goal when it freezes, we sometimes lose catch up and now and again we lose everything but overall, not wanting a huge dish, I am more than happy.

Not sure about the legalities of iptv, as it runs of the internet? If you’re internet provider supplied/rented a box of tricks, then so be it, but if you supply/buy your own box then it’s nothing to do with your internet provider.

Not sure if the Guardia Civil would have the same stance on the legality of your IPTV.

Most internet providers in the Torrevieja area blatantly advertise iptv! But the wording is mainly based on the speed needed for iptv, its normally the persons who want the service who buys the box of tricks, this is normally a one of payment in cash to the internet provider? But I may be wrong?

We’ve been using IPTV since we arrived in Spain more than 18 months ago and with an excellent fibre optic internet connection it is the business!!!! Literally hundreds of channels, every sport you can imagine, new box office films and tv box sets.

Iptv is legal.....If you've paid all the relevant fees.

The tv service I use does not need a "box of tricks" as it an app you can download from Google play onto your phone or tablet or laptop!!

The app has been fully checked by Google and is legal at €48 per year for 36 channels plus catchup. Pay more get more channels.
