I am trying to locate a fully qualified and experienced watchmaker for the replacement of batteries to two watches that require special skills.

I have had batteries replaced in several watches & jewellery alterations at a watch/jewellery shop in Torrevieja all at very reasonable cost, I haven't needed any 'special skills' so can't claim experience of that. As a suggestion, you could take your watches in and ask if they are able to help. The shop is at

The Joyeria in Guardamar on Carrer Major. J Valero Relojero. I can recommend. He is an authorised repairer for many of the top end Swiss watch makers.

I seem to remember that there is a jewellers/shop in Quasada but cannot remember the name
a member had a new battery fitted to a Tag Heur

In a good gold and watch shop in the boulevard they put batteries in my Gucci watch, very pleased with them, they send them away, takes about 10 days to return,
