Hi, I can recommend an english guy called Malcolm who can probably advise you re the NIE & other matters. He has helped us with our residencia cards as we are now resident in Spain. Private message me if you want his contact details.

If you are buying in joint names then you will need NIE for all persons on the deeds, you will also need passport type photo's and I assume the online fee incudes the power of attorney fee that cost me 50 Euro in December last year.
