I am disabled and cannot attend the padron office. I have a person who will collect on my behalf, can anyone advise me what documents will be needed by the person to carry out this collection please. Thank you

While I've not had to do a padron renewal, one option I would suggest would be to arrange to obtain a digital certificate from your ayuntamiento which would then enable you to apply/renew your padron from the comfort of your own home.

Assuming you fall under Torrevieja, then requesting an appointment to get this can be started from here:

To get it, I needed my NIE number, passport and email address. I took loads more (SUMA, House Deeds, Water bill etc etc) but they didn't look at any of them.

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately this does not answer my question, which was what documentation does my representive need themself to collect the padron document on my behalf.

Hello

If you speak spanish, I  would contact the office directly & ask what is required, if not I would get a spanish speaker to call on your behalf. The padron & digital certificate are issued from the same office & this is the number I was given to call, when I  had to query my digital certificate paperwork    Tel...966444644. They are very particular in this office so best to get the correct information & save a 2nd journey.
Hope this is helpful

Cheers

Thanks for the info, finally after about 4 months of trying, I got an appointment for a new volante de padron at the end of January. How do I get the electronic certificate? My NIE is 14 years old and needs the address changed for the TIE I believe. I was told by one of these go-betweens that I had to get the Volante de impadronamiento first. (I have loads but they are all more than 3 months old)

Any person acting on your behalf will need an auhorization SATISFACTORY to whoever is concerned, so the latter should advise accordingly. Most public institutions provide referring forms to fill.
