Hi folks,
My first post! We are considering moving to the San Luis area later this year (already resident with TIE cards) and wondering if there are any serious crime issues around the area. I know there are criminals everywhere but wondered if we would need to be extra concerned. Thanks

Hi, we've lived out here for a good few years and not noticed anything untoward. Our home is empty for long spells too and never had an issue.
Certainly, compared to UK, crime levels are low but not non existant and like anywhere, there are always opportunist looking to strike if they get a chance.
I'd thoroughly recommend the area.
