Can anyone enlighten me....

Is my UK Gov pension effected by living in Spain for most of the year.

If so kindly give me an approximate %  example if possible.

Thanks

My UK government pension is exactly the same as it was in the UK before moving here to Spain.

What do you mean by living in Spain for most of the year?

Are you resident in Spain?

I believe If you become a resident now your state pension will not increase each year and you will not get free healthcare when you reach UK retirement age

If you achieve resident status, you can have your UK state pension paid direct into your Spanish bank. The exchange rate used is very good and there's no charge, or there shouldn't be, for your bank to receive the payment. The actual payment level is the same as you would receive in the UK.

This is not correct. UK citizens living in the EU and receiving the state pension are entitled to the same pension increases as those who live in the UK, regardless of when their residence started.

How long this will remain the case under Robber Johnson and his Merrie Men is anyone's guess.

Yes the UK agreed to carry on with the S1 healthcare cover when UK Expats reached retirement age and drawing their UK pension.
