Anyone taking an airport transfer from a "friend of a friend" or someone they don't know should check whether they hold the relevant insurance.
In the event that injury, serious injury, disfigurement, incapacity, etc was to occur as a result of an accident, a claim could only be made against an insured driver.
And believe me you or your relatives WOULD want to claim!
Normal vehicle insurance doesn't cover commercial activity, not even occasional airport trips for small amounts of cash.
Just sayin'.........
