We've been diverted to Murcia instead of Alicante. Does anyone know how we can get to Torrevieja or know anyone going that way? Or lifts? We'll obviously pay.

We can't use them as just landed and it says 24 hours to book.

Yes it's because of the fire yesterday.

A lot of the news items are saying that road transport is being provided by the airlines to Alicante airport, have you had any guidance from them?

Hi Kaye, that is a most unfortunate, and I imagine, very frustrating thing to happen to your travel itinerary.

Is it contractual that your airline is not responsible for arranging onward transport for you and your belongings to the original booked destination of Alicante  ?

It's the airlines responsibility to get you to Alicante but if you actually want to be in Torrey there is not much point in that as you'll be further away from there than you are now!
