Hello,
Can anyone advise me as to where I can get a very basic car key cut please?
No fob or anything, just a plain and simple 20 YO Hyundai car key duplicate.
It's just occurred to me that if I lose this one, it's a nightmare.

You are wise to acquire a spare because losing a sole working key for a 20 year old car could generate a bill of more than the car is worth!

I agree with V.
My local ferret has a large variety of keys and only charges one euro per copy. Got to be worth a try.

Wouldn't Servillave do it. They are in the Casa Grande Industrial Estate.

Yes. This place was ultimately the solution.
I was contemplating changing the whole lock, because it was getting sticky and hard to turn, where even cheap Chinese knockoffs are 60 euro and postage. I spoke to the chap there and he said it needed cleaning. So 90 euro for that. With the labour included, I thought that was reasonable. That has sorted that issue.
Then I asked for a spare key, which stunned me when he told me 50 euro!
It turns out it's got a transponder and proved it to me by placing it in a machine which showed the code.
Hence just a plain key won't do the job. Good job in the end, albeit it cost me 140 euro
