Today at 16:50 we (Us and a friend who wanted to order something too) went to the Habaneras IKEA shop, we were just behind another couple who went to the vacant desk. Another couple arrived shortly after us. Around 5:30 a Spanish couple arrived too.
After an hour of waiting (17:50) the couple before us finished so we went to to take their place. The Spanish couple spoke to the woman at the desk, the woman at the desk then told us that the Spanish couple had an appointment for 3:30 (they were only 2 hours late!). Then she told us that we had to make an appointment online. We then told the waiting couple and those waiting outside that they had to make an appointment online, so we all left! There is nothing written anywhere outside or inside the shop regarding having to make an appointment. It does say however that the maximum allowed number of people that can be there is 18 which is ridiculous on 2 counts, the size of the shop, and why is it necessary when people have to have an appointment.
I should also add that no-one said a single word to any of us about why we were waiting during the hour that we were there.
I have sent a copy to IKEA Murcia in English and Spanish I did go just now to the Murcia site and found that there was further down after reading the opening times, address etc a button to make an appointment, clicking on this gives- Redirigiendo al formulario de solicitud de cita previa
But it does not load, it says that cookies must be allowed etc but it is a no go!!!!!
Disgruntled customer.
