Today at 16:50 we (Us and a friend who wanted to order something too) went to the Habaneras IKEA shop, we were just behind another couple who went to the vacant desk. Another couple arrived shortly after us.  Around 5:30 a Spanish couple arrived too.

After an hour of waiting (17:50) the couple before us finished so we went to to take their place. The Spanish couple spoke to the woman at the desk, the woman at the desk then told us that the Spanish couple had an appointment for 3:30 (they were only 2 hours late!). Then she told us that we had to make an appointment online. We then told the waiting couple and those waiting outside that they had to make an appointment online, so we all left! There is nothing written anywhere outside or inside the shop regarding having to make an appointment. It does say however that the maximum allowed number of people that can be there is 18 which is ridiculous on 2 counts, the size of the shop, and why is it necessary when people have to have an appointment.

I should also add that no-one said a single word to any of us about why we were waiting during the hour that we were there.

I have sent a copy to IKEA Murcia in English and Spanish I did go just now to the Murcia site and found that there was further down after reading the opening times, address etc a button to make an appointment, clicking on this gives- Redirigiendo al formulario de solicitud de cita previa

But it does not load, it says that cookies must be allowed etc but it is a no go!!!!!

Disgruntled customer.

Take it easy, the chaos everywhere is absolutely normal. There is no YES or No, everything is possible or not quite, almost, perhaps, don't-ask-me-anything-I-only-work-here, or the other way around, and the more you insist, the less response you get. Disgusting? yes but that's how it works, and oce you get used to it and find out the so many gaps, you can turn the tables and take advantages of a system impossible in a perfect organized society like the British, and forget the German. After living (very happy) in this country for the last 59 years I know what I'm talking about.

I thought the IKEA in CC Habaneras was for collection only. I always order on the IKEA app for home delivery. Much easier and delivery is in a few days. Shipping costs are reasonable.

A new IKEA order/collection store has opened in La Zenia Boulevard, near the Pet Shop and Marvimundo.

I only wanted a frame costing 20E, Last time I ordered for home delivery it cost me 49E. Ordering at Habaneras you can collect in

Quesada free a few days later.

Delivery of items that fit in an IKEA bag is only 4€ now. Maybe not worth it for your picture frame but bear in mind for future orders.

I ordered some things from IKEA yesterday for a delivery, they were from the Murcia warehouse. I got an email this morning, saying my order could not be processed and that I should contact my bank. Rest assured, the money was there and the bank said that the vendor did not claim the funds from the card hold. I tried again but alas, one product was marked as "not available for online delivery". I left it out and made another order. A few hours later, same result. Long story short: you will get a template email which claims there is a payment issue while, in fact, they have chaos in their inventory. I finally managed to get my order accepted, fourth attempt, with 7 items removed from my list.

Beware.

The friend We went to the Habaneras office with made an an appointment ( He said it was a shite procedure) which was cancelled later the same day. He got another appointment which he attended. He wanted to order an item that cost 49E. He was told that the Quesada delivery point was no longer functioning. The delivery cost was 49E, Yes the same as what the item cost !!! Needless to say he cancelled the order and gave them a bit of grief over what had happened a few days previously. We have found a better solution so we are glad we didn't waste any more time at the office.
