We have bought an apartment in El Chapparal but it is unfunrished. We are coming over on 9th June but will need to have beds etc delivered on the day we arrive. Apart from Ikea who cannot deliver beds inside the property, do you have any suggestions where we can buy? We are based in the UK.

There is a Bed and Sofa shop in Altos de Limonar area beside Shannon Irish Bar . It very convenient to El Chapparal 5 minutes drive

Hnos Garcia. They have everything and deliver. Also online so you can order and have it delivered when you want.
Delivery is included in the price.

Look online at New2you Second Hand and new furniture.
They have 2 shops,bedshop,and furniture shop.
You can reserve items without actually goito their shops.
We have been buying from them for 9 years.to
English,very friendly,and helpful.
Large Spanish shops wouldn't be too helpful?
I think if you told them your predicament,they would work with you to sort something out?

I kind of disagree with comments about large Spanish retailers. 😅 . I do not speak any Spanish but when I do visit any Spanish retailers. I am treated with respect and some employees who speak English is more than happy to help with my queries.

Conforama La Zenia Boulevard.
Got my Sofa, bed and other furniture from there. They delivered inside the property. They also have a put together service for a fee.
Decent value too. Have a look online.
You may have to change the settings to show the page in English. My phone automatically changes the spanish to English

Also look at Carrefour.es for bits for the house. They're also very reasonable.
