Hi all, does anyone know were I can hire fans from for our stay from 31st July to 7th August as our apartments have no air conditioner unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is your own apartment then just buy a couple of fans, they are not expensive and easy to find in the shops (as RayD says, they are under €20 each).
If it is a holiday let then air con it isn't required in a 'standard' rated property but is in a the other two categories. (Interestingly heating is required in all categories). However I would say that a rental without air con that doesn't have fans is not 'fully equipped', and that is a requirement. So ask the owner/agent for the license number and ask them to put fans in the property before you arrive. The license number has to be displayed on all advertising and should be on your booking form and contract as well. If it doesn't have a license number then it's an illegal and uninsured let so best to walk away and try to find somewhere else (although I realise that will be difficult as most legal places are fully booked up).
