Hi.
Madcatwoman is so right. It is a beautiful place,
There also seems to be a mini micro climate here so outdoor activities are easy. If you like walking, running, cycling or horseriding, you will be in the right place. I ride at Legend, telephone Katy on 34 663 04 96 26.
The walk over the cliff towards Torres is spectacular or to Xarco in the Alicante direction. Or in the campo behind Villajoyosa and, if you are fit, up Puig Campana. Visits to Finestrat ad Altea also recommended.
Valor chocolate factory visit is very good but there are other smaller chocolate producers who do tours, namely Perez and Clavileno. If you are into culture there is a museum with local history, opposite the tourist office and the staff are very helpful in the Tourist Office.
A walk up to the tower at Paraiso is lovely and has information boards telling you about the big house and the tower.
Obviously, there are dozens of bars, cafes and restaurants. Best of all, wine is from 1,20 a bottle which is why most of us are becoming alcoholics. Happy alcoholics though.
Sorry to rattle on but I love the place! No dragging me back to Blighty!
Have a wonderful time.
