I have a booking from Belfast on the 12th July... got an email from EasyJet yesterday saying there is still uncertainty about flights, government restrictions etc and asking that I take a voucher instead of the flights. So now, we are now in a real quandary as it looks unlikely that we’ll get to go, but don’t want to cancel just in case. Also, the voucher terms states that if a subsequent flight is cancelled, then we won’t get a refund.

Wait until they send you a cancellation e-mail and don't accept a voucher.

That’s what I’ll be doing. I think this is to soften the blow a little by hinting it will be cancelled.

Hi gilli we are booked on the Belfast to Alicante flight on 3rd July and got same email. On Monday 1st june easyJet suspended selling seats on all flights from most airports in uk until 16th July. This has happened numerous times to us but the flight has been cancelled within 24 hours and this hasn’t happened yet. I think they have stopped selling the seats in case they do have to cancel but if numbers of Coronavirus cases continues to drop they will reopen sales. I know on our seat at least 67 seats had been checked in (never mind those that were sold and hadn’t checked in). I’m hoping for best but expecting the worst and dreading every time I get an email in my inbox in case it’s cancellation one lol. Fingers crossed flights will go but will let you know if I hear anything as my flight is before yours
