Try Alfonso of Gran Alacant Insurances who advertise down the right hand side of this page, highly recommended. Don't worry about him being in Spain, it can all be done by email and all documentation is in English. He was very helpful with a recent motor claim.

...mal circumstances, around 6 times a year for around 8 weeks total.

My latest renewal has just come in at £260 ( around €300 as a one off payment). That seems quite high to me and just wonder if anyone can recommend a UK based company that I could get a competitive quote from? Or it may well be that this is a competitive price? My insurance includes all admin charges, £5,500 of contents and legal cover.
