Have you checked your water meter as a precaution just to make sure you haven't sprung a leak between the meter and your house. If the meter is spinning and you're not getting anything in your house the you have an issue.

Thank you for this advice. Will check.
The strange thing is that I’d experience a really tiny stream if I’d open the tap during the day (albeit only the ground floor tap) as if there’s no pressure to pull the water into the pipes.

Are any of your neighbours experiencing the same issues?

Hi - don’t have the immediate neighbours, but no one around is experiencing the same.
I have an outlet for a hose on my roof terrace, with a lever to divert water into it. Couple of months ago, after using it to clean sand off the terrace, I thought I had changed it back to the off position, but had accidentally turned off the actual stop cock into the house, which was a little further along the pipe... took me hours to realise my mistake as there was enough stored water in the tank for little things like filling a kettle or having a wash. It's the little things that drive you crazy... So check you haven't done the same ;)

Thanks so much, Gerry. I can imagine you were tearing your hairs off trying to understand.
Haven’t done any cleaning like this, but am going to check.

Do you pay the bills by standing order? Check that the last one has been paid. If all else fails contact your supplier. Good luck.
