Hi, I am desperate can anyone tell me where there is a dog trainer.  If I don’t stop them from barking I will have to take them to the dog pound or I will have a revolt with the neighbours. Every time someone goes by my gate they bark like mad which is nearly every five minutes.  HELP

Have you spoken to your vet? They should be able to recommend a dog trainer/behaviourist. Please don’t take them to the pound. You have a reply to your other post, maybe you should try the baby gate as suggested, just until you can sort out getting help with your problem. I do hope that you can get the help that you need. Explain to your neighbours that you are trying to sort the barking out with professional help and I’m sure they will cut you some slack....I know I would 😊

I have a little Maltese, who barked a lot, I got her a anti bark collar and she now doesn’t bark so much, dogs are supposed to bark if someone goes passed your gate, if you would like to try the anti bark collar please send me a private message and I am willing for you to try it. It is for a Maltese dog.

Thank you for your help. I will speak to my vet and find out what she suggests. What do I do with a baby gate?  Thankyou

Hi just get a baby gate try charity shops first or any local buy sell sites but if I recall they are not very expensive. There are two types of gate a pressure fit which requires no drilling, the other requires the fittings for the gate to be drilled into the door opening, not the door. I would suggest a pressure gate as your dogs are only small and they are so mush easier to put up as they are spring loaded and just fit into the door way and once you’ve stopped the barking 😊 you can just remove it without any trace of it ever being there! If you can’t source a second hand gate places like Carrefour sell them. I’m sure you will get there with the barking problem, at least you are addressing and trying to resolve it. Good luck and I’m sure before too long you will have happy dogs and grateful neighbours!

Thank you. Not worry about price if it means I can stop them from barking. Thanks
