UK passports

As you are under state retirement age and therefore not entitled to the S1 then you will need PMI in place to get the Non Lucrative Visa which has to be applied for at your nearest Spanish Consulate, London, Manchester or Edinburgh assuming you meet the financial requirements.  You cannot move to Spain without this visa.

Your UK prescription doesn't mean much here but is useful for a pharmacist to maybe find alternatives if the exact same is not available. This is only for over the counter medication. For anything else you would need to get a prescription from the private GP as indicated within the T&Cs of the policy and you would need to pay full price.
Within 6 months you will have to take a Spanish medical, theory and practical test to get a Spanish driving licence.

The easiest way to find out is to take your medication along to a pharmacy and simply ask if they are available over the counter. The only medication that is not available where I live is antibiotics and specialist medication dispensed in a hospital pharmacy. If you are refused in one pharmacy for any particular item try another.
