Hi everyone. We are long term renting in Villamartin from October 2019 and will be bringing our dog. We feed him raw food here in the UK and was wondering if there are any raw feed stockists in the area. Advice and information will be much appreciated.

Thanks Carole

My dog is also raw fed he’s in the uk at present but I intend to bring him out later in the year.I have been on the lookout for raw food while I’m here.In carrefour today I spotted whole rabbit (quite expensive )chicken wings, livers ,chicken feet (which my dog loves)pigs snout ,trotters and ears.la campo had lites and Pet world sell a small selection of raw food and as someone said try the butchers.

Thanks

I have been reluctant to give him raw meat that we might buy to cook since I understand it had to be cooked to get rid of bacteria. I don't know how right that is but raw for us is a lot more expensive than the barf we buy for him now. Thanks anyway keep me posted if you find anything else 😊🐾

Hi Chrissie

I have used Reeves butchers at San Luis he sells 1kg of his off cuts for €2. There is a lot of fat in it though but because its chopped rather than fine minced it is possible to remove most of the fat. I have a schnauzer so fat is a problem more so I think than other breeds.

I was told of a pet food supplier at Pilar de Horadada called Agri Zoo but haven't tried it yet.

We brought lots of Natures Diet over with us and alternate this.

So far so good 😁

Thank you thats good to know our Bobby has allergies so needs the raw food without any additives. We get natures menu from pets at home here in UK but they are frozen nuggets and given that we are driving over and going to take a few days i dont think we will be able to bring any and may stink the car out when it defrosts! Thanks very much for your help.
