Hi Carry,

The company I work for can do that for you. If you want to email me I would be more than happy to discuss in more detail. [email protected]

Thanks

I think you can get your pension paid directly into your Spanish bank account without any charges.

You don't need a third party company to do it for you as you will have to pay them.

Contact the UK pension department to see if they will pay your pension directly into your Spanish account.

At some point in the journey it will need to be converted into euros, and if you leave that to your bank you will get a very poor exchange rate!

Patrick, I understand that you are trying to gain some business but......The UK pension department will transfer your pension money directly into euros if they deposit it into your Spanish account.

UK Pensions will pay your state pension directly into your Spanish account already converted into Euros at a usually good rate, there are no charges and it arrives just the same as in the UK. Mine has been arriving this way for years so it would be silly to pay a third party to do something that you get done for nothing anyway.

You don't say where you are from but if you hold a UK passport you will be restricted to 90 days in a rolling 180. If you hold an EU passport nobody is going to ask many questions even though technically you should only stay for a maximum of 90 days before applying for residency.

Thanks very much for your email I am from England and do the 90 in 180 but because I spend half of my time here I thought I’d send my pension here save keep sending money and getting charged by my ba

We have an English bank account and our pensions are paid into this account....we also have a spanish bank account so when the exhange rate is good we use currencies direct, say for example we want to transfer 5k we phone them they give you the rate we transfer the money to them and they pay the euros into our spanis account the same day and it costs nothing.......

As you are a non-resident you can now only stay for 90 days in a rolling year so I would just transfer money with Currencies Direct or Wise when you need to.  It takes seconds to do.  You never know when you may want the money in the UK as you will be there more than in Spain.  If you need extra money when you are in Spain just send more across from the UK.
