I have a non resi account usually 30e per 1/4.

Seems to have gone up to 35e anyone else noticed this or had notification of it?

Me neither. I know paying for using a bank as a non resi is part and parcel of HH ownership  in Spain. But you'd of thought they would let us know?

They were like this with my home insurance as well.

I know it’s so annoying when they just take the money. My biggest gripe is the Non Resident fees that they take every 2 years I don’t have a problem with paying them but I never know how much or when they are going to debit my account! They tried to sell me house insurance last year but I politely declined.

I took their house insurance when I was in the bank moving the money because it was easier. I then tried to move the 2nd year but didn't give them enough notice. The 3rd year I gave them enough notice, they reduced their quote by 30% and also gave me the same discount for my previous 2nd year in the form of a refund.

So I done quite well, think they cocked up on that.

Just checked on my bank statement last year we paid €36.30 plus €7.10 admin fees each. The fees will be due again ‘sometime ‘ in 2019. Please note this fee is not the same as the Annual Non Resident Taxes (Impuesto sobre La Renta de no Residentes) that are submitted on Modelo 210 payable by 31st December each year. I’ve mentioned this as one or two people I know were under the impression that these fees were their Non Resident taxes. Hope this makes sense!

My charge for that has just landed as well. That is every two years, dont think that's an annual charge.  Something to do with bank confirming your tax status
