Hi I’ve been quoted 450 euros for non resident tax is this normal price

No, that isn't normal but who has quoted you this, your Solicitor?
Have you paid this tax before or is this your first time ?
It seem very high, however without knowing the Cadastral value of your property, it’s difficult for me to say how much is the actual tax and how much is the fee. Ask for a breakdown of how they have arrived at this figure.
There are plenty of recommendations on the forum for companies who prepare the Non Resident Tax at a very reasonable price. I use:

Yes my lawyer quoted me this it’s my 3rd year I’m only over a couple of times on holidays people have told me this is too dear

For the past 10yrs I have used Lesley Williams to do my non res tax, she is very knowledgable and would quickly advise what you ought to be paying as this is her business.
I would give her a call asap, her number is in this link, she isn't expensive.
