Hi

I’m looking to do my 1st tax return as a non resident for rental income.  I have been given a quote of 100euros per quarter.  Does this sound like the going rate ?  Does anyone have any recommendations ?

I haven't actually done a a guide, but if needed can point you at DIY instructions. What Kim's thinking about is:

Thanks - I’ve had a look - for the last quarter we only rented out for one week so trying to keep costs down.  Looks like we have to fill out one each for my husband and I.  Where would I find the DIY instructions ?   I’ve emailed both Spanish tax returns and the 20 euro one to see what they both say about confirmed costs.

Our fiscal rep includes the 4 quarterly tax returns and our non-residents tax return in one annual fee of €145, so yes I would say 100 euros per quarter does sound rather high.  I do the basic work, just fill in the information on a form they supply and email it back each quarter.  They submit the return and the tax payment is set up to be paid by direct debit.

Financial representative - so a qualified book keeper or accountant (Spanish qualifications) who handles tax returns.
