Hi, I am moving out in a few months and will be looking for a Spanish contact.  Please could anybody advise as to which provider to use for unlimited texts and calls both to UK and locally.

Most of the international providers are here. We use Orange, for an extra 1 eu per month, we have unlimited calls to the UK - but beware, this is to standard landlines only, NOT mobiles or any 0300/0800 numbers or similar.

It seems that texts are not included in Spanish contracts, hence the ubiquity of WhatApp everywhere, almost everyone uses it.

The prices are all much of a muchness as in UK, although there is an outfit called Yoigo who I am told, do provide cheaper rates, however, I looked at changing from Orange and couldn’t really see that much difference.

You pays your money and you takes your pick.............
