On April 12th the government will be telling us when we can travel abroad from the UK. It is hoped that international travel for all will resume on May 17th, but it  could be later and depends on the coronavirus stats. Where we can fly to will be dependent upon which countries will allow UK ...

...citizens access. There may also be a need to get vaccination passports, not yet confirmed.

Let's hope the situation here in the UK continues to improve as it has done in the past few weeks so that we can safely get out of these covid restrictions.

Thanks again, well if they going to force us to have vaccine to travel then that’s me out, I have no idea what they are shooting into my arm, and so many people are complying without any proof they work so let’s see what next 6 months will tell us

I think the proof that they work is irrefutable

Unfortunately, lot of evidence to say now that big red flag appearing to say otherwise, hopefully soon we will get more information, unfortunately a lot of the staff in certain homes have already come out stating they are fully aware of more deaths since roll out of vaccine in January, fingers crossed that if this is the case the truth will come out

Hi Geraldine, it is not mandatory to have the vaccine, being able to travel may be different going forward in that countries may insist on a proof of vaccination. Very much at the discussion stage at the moment.

The proof presented at the government briefing on Monday showed excellent responses to the vaccinations, across all age groups. Can you show proof of your claims about deaths at certain homes or is it just hearsay?

I had one dose of the vaccine last month, most of my friends and family over 65 have had the same. No issues reported other than some being off colour immediately afterwards, for about 24 hours (as the leaflet we were given at the vaccine centre warned may happen). Looking forward to our second dose in April.

Please cite a source of credible evidence for this assertion.

I may be old fashioned but I prefer to go with authoritative sources such as refereed journals:

I wasn't challenging your statement that some will have side effects - of course they will but in the millions vaccinated they have been relatively minor and certainly less serious for many than getting Covid.

You were questioning their efficacy and said there is a lot of evidence that they do not work. This is not true and unless you provide evidence, it is misinformation which needs to be questioned.

Hi Geraldine, it is noticeable that you do not provide any articles to back up your statements, though you now have a friend and a relative who are affected. If they are truly unwell then I hope they get better soon.

Personally I take the opposite view to you and I would urge everyone to have the vaccine as soon as they can. Take a look at the attached:
