Valencia: source El Pais

From this Monday " the plan is to increase the rhythm until we are administering 79,400 doses" the regional premier Ximo Puig announced on Sunday.

The vaccination of police and other security forces is due to start , as well as emergency crews, while the process of inoculating the disabled over 55 and the over 80's with 42,000 Pfizer doses will continue. The former will be vaccinated in their homes by the nearest healthcare staff, while the over 80's are being treated in healthcare centres or in their homes if they cannot travel. The vaccination of private medical staff is due to finish soon, as will the shots for second-line public healthcare workers, residents in care homes where there have been outbreaks, and staff in day centres.

If you look at El Pais they generally have some good updates on the vaccination plans, progress, etc. There is a English language version.

https://english.elpais.com/news/spanish_news/

It is going slowly in the EU as a whole, though Spain is as far forward as any of the other larger EU countries. The blame is given on supply but there are numerous articles in the press saying that people (in Europe) do not want the AstraZeneca vaccine and hence there are many doses left on the shelf. Figures given out in the in the UK earlier this week show that AZ is as effective as Pfizer for those over 70 as well as those under, perhaps this will cause a change of tack in Europe.
