Do I need the 3rd booster vaccine for entry into Spain?
Do I need the 3rd booster vaccine for entry into Spain?
Hello
In general, we have only had one booster vaccination in Spain unless you were over a certain age & had chronic health problems, compromised immune system etc....then you could have a 2nd booster.
Cheers

As a tourist you need to show the QR code on your EU Covid Certificate or NHS Covid pass.
If you full dose (ie 2nd jab) was longer than 270 days ago, you require a booster jab to enter Spain.
Unless you have a covid recovery certificate to show you had covid less than 180 days ago.

Just to try and help anyone, I had a short holiday in the UKa d returned 8th May, I found out that my 2 jabs were out of date, I had also had the booster jab but couldn't download it, (this was in date) I therefore had to take a covid test at the airport it only took 10 mins, and thankfully I was negative.... However I don't know what would have happened if I'd been positive!!! This may help someone to make sure they have everything up to date-I hadn't realised, and also couldn't download the Spanish website to prove I had the booster....

What were you asked to show in the UK in order to board the plane, I thought that if your covid pass wasn't up to date or jabs weren't registered you were denied boarding???

OK thanks, A friend used our villa and turned up in Alicante with only two jabs, she took a test and was then allowed to enter, is this the norm?

Yes if you haven’t had a booster.
