Car Hire 30+ Days

I'm staying in Villa Martin from 25th June - 29th July. (34 days total).

I've hired cars quite a few times from Alicante/Murcia but this is the first long stint and I'm trying to work out the cheapest way to do it.

Most of the rental companies are working out at €700+. If anyone has any advice/experience on how we could get a better deal, I'd really appreciate it.

I would be fine with the smallest option with the exception of getting to/from airport so any workarounds or thoughts around that would be welcome too.

I've heard that booking a week at a time works out cheaper not sure how true it is but may be worth a look tho

If you go to our local Villamartin car hire company, they can beat that price. They will charge to pick you up and drop you off at the airport, but even with that expense taken into account work out cheaper than your quote.
