Hi there. We use sky scannner on the internet every time. They find you the cheapest deals. Just booked today for 2 weeks in June at a cost of £30. Can't beat their deals. We've recently purchased a house in Lamos de Cabo Roig. The excess is high with all the companies but we have taken out an insurance in the U.K. to cover the excess which costs £36 a year.

Hi Pete we use insurance4carhire.com it was £39.99 & covers excess. Hope this is of some help.

I always do a car hire insurance in the U.K. Have just renewed it £39 for a year insurance4carhire.com always go with youdospain.com also check that when you hire a car with them & don't take the excess insurance that they BLOCK the deposit from your credit car, if they take it it could be 6-8 weeks before it is refunded & you will incur charges. Another tip is regularly check the price of car hire on the site as prices do occasionally change & if it drops you can cancel & not lose any money & rebook at the lower price. I hired from click & go this time & no hard sell for insurance.
