Hi all - which junction is best to avoid the dreaded tolls - travelling from La Zenia to Alicante Airport, usually N332.

Thanks

How much is this "dreaded" toll?

You could go via San Miguel and follow signs for Benijofar. You can join the motorway from the big roundabout by the old Masa factory next to El Zoco market. There is also a petrol station at the roundabout.

Do not think it will be quicker though. When  we regularly  travelled up to La Marina it saved approx five minutes if we paid the tolls. Really not worth it in our opinion considering that there are two payments within a very short difference. We would never use toll road unless there were exceptional circumstances.

Thanks very much, just the hands on experience I’m looking for. Appreciated.

Its not worth the hassle, we are in Pau 8 and just use the N332 just as quick if not quicker by the time you have messed around going the back roads to save 7 euros you may aswell pay the toll then you will save 10 minutes.

Hello. Zoco market route is ok. I prefer San Miguel towards Benijofar .

However I turn right within a few meters . This is a straight road. No towns or speed bumps. Joins the AP7 no tolls.

Drive to San Miguel and follow the CV95 towards Benijofar and follow directions to AP7.  We often take it as there is less traffic. Tolls are La Zenia and Montesinos and then free.
