Hi , I need to some advice I was on holiday  , we.found  some odd ants the other day indoors , killed them and filled the gap , today woke up and there was a very long line of ants coming from an electric socket . So killed them and covered the floor with ant spray , then saw them outside and killed them then  sealed the socket off. I’ve come back to the Uk and I’m really worried , not sure what to do ?

We had lots of ants when we moved here.

A huge line across a wall as you did.

Kitchen cupboards were teaming with them.

We read Baby Powder was the answer.

It was,works perfectly well,no chemicals,and a lovely smell too.

No med to worry, if they find nothing to eat they will go away. We have them too, but when we come back after a few months, they are gone

Ideally you want to leave ant bait out, the type that the ants carry back to the nest, this should take care of the problem, its not immediate so might take a few days but it works, leave several of these bait traps out before you leave the property.

A good "bait" trap is to leave granular washing detergent on the ant "run". They tend to carry the grains back to their nest & do not return. V
