Balcony and window shutters.

We purchased a one bedroom 1st floor apartment in February this year on the same road as the private school (El Limonar) in Villamartin. Has anyone ever had their existing wooden frames and shutters removed and have them replaced with the white pvc ones that are fitted on many apartments. We have 1 doorleading to the balcony and the one to the Juliet balcony, shutters on the main lounge window, bedroom and bathroom window. We have noticed that some apartments have been partially replaced with the white PVC, If someone could kindly give us some idea of costs it would be much appreciated. Stay safe all.

Hello Jim,

We bought an apartment on the el mirador, down beside the private school a couple of years ago.

And we are planning to get white pvc windows & shutters put in this year whenever it is we can get back out there.

Seems to be quite a lot of apartments have had this done. If or when you find a company to do this then let me know who you got to do the work and how it went ?

Good evening Ryan

I certainly will inform you of any company we engage to carry out the work. There is also a recommendation from John who kindly supplied us with a contact. I was in the Captain Morgan’s one night in Feb this year and I spoke to a chap sitting in the bar who stated that he carried out this kind of work in the El MIrador area but I did not press him for more information. Depending on costs, which I don’t know at present we might only get partial works done. I did notice that some of the apartments have only had some of the windows/shutters replaced, maybe for the reason I mentioned.
