We have just put down a deposit on a property and told we can have the keys in august. The seller now doesn't want to go until September. When we fly back to UK. Is there anything we can do about this.

Yvonne, hopefully you will get more than just my reply, but my understanding is that completion dates (sale dates) are mutually agreed with buyer and seller.
If you paid your deposit to your solicitor you might tell them that September in unsuitable and see if they can force the seller to complete in August. The Compra Venta should have a clause in it stipulating the maximum delay that the buyer and seller has before completing. (At least I believe so) So speak to your solicitor and see what they say?
