Why don't you get it tested?
It is fine to drink but other members have mentioned a taste to it so maybe a filter jug would work.
One question at a time ! if you are actually in Villamartin right now, you can answer the taste question immediately, taste it. If you are genuinely concerned about the quality, bottled water is So inexpensive from supermarkets, just buy it. Personally, we don’t drink from the tap but have no concerns regarding using it for cooking. It’s likely as good as you will get in most of the UK from the tap, just my choice to use bottled water to drink. Suppose areas will differ but Villamartin will be Fine. Strange question really.

Really ? Strange answer to a reasonable question. Unnecessary really.

There is a search facility there to find an opinion of the water in a postcode area but it's subjective.
Producers the world over necessarily use chlorine to sterilise potable water which, combined with local factors can lead to an individual taste, whether that's acceptable to the consumer is well, a matter of taste!
Personally I'm more than happy to drink from the tap and do, the one and only time I've bought bottled water was when we were informed that our supply was being cut for work on the pipes due to a major leak.
Today microplasics are the growing issue and it's for that reason rather than taste that filtering might be advisable.

Really, I’m sorry but if you are already there then you know what it tastes like, you were not specific. If your not, then just as I said buy bottled water when you get there, and taste the tap water later. I even said that it’s as good as UK water. It’s not a third world country and the water standards are extremely high in most regions. Especially in the region you mention. I just thought what does the water taste like would not be one of my major concerns if I was considering visiting or staying there. Anyway, all the best and sorry my reply annoyed you, and enjoy the water.

When shopping at any store watch others buying large quantities of bottled water. The President of Murcia brought it to the point when stating in an interview that tap water in Murcia is ALMOST safe.
Hello
Ive drunk tap water here for 17years after 1 year of lugging home heavy bottles I gave it a go and all was fine & tasted ok to me..
I refill smaller bottles from the tap & keep in the fridge until use....Ive also given them to others, friends, workmen etc. who have never refused them on grounds of taste. If I'm out & need to buy water I don't really notice any difference.
Cheers
