If you obtain a Michelin map of the area, you will find all kinds of interesting routes, hopefully with pleasant villages where one may stop for lunch!!!

Hi, Try the drive up to Hondon de los Frailes. We have been several times and the drive up the steep hills is spectacular. We usually have something to eat at Restaurante Vientiocho 28, which is on the corner of the main plaza, I usually have the Ceasar Salad, which is the best I have ever had. A lovely day out. Restaurante veintiocho 28

The road from Albatera to Hondon de los Frailes is spectacular. Very steep but smooth.
