HI

The closest one I can think of is at La Zenia boulevard.

I see a lot of people charging their cars out on the street, with extension cables from their houses.

Hi Clivers, The  last time I looked the Aldi store , just down the road from Villamartin, at La Fuenta, had two EV charging points for use of their customers.

There is one at the start of the street leading down to the Marinasol in Cabo Roig, where the Thursday Market is so avoid on that day.

No probs, I think Aldi ,along with other Supermarkets , especially in the UK ,are expanding the number of stores which provide such facilities.

The charging from home via extension leads, 😲, as opposed to a dedicated, High output, fast charge, EV charging point could produce problems considering the low potencia capacity levels of Spanish homes. 'Off street' Overnight charging would maybe be practical in terms of the required extended charge times and limits of Power capacity available.

Back in the UK Grant's up to £500 are available for EV charging point installation at domestic properties, not sure on position in Spain.

This might be a dumb question, but how will you recharge the car on the way down?

Agree if it’s an all electric vehicle you will not make it here 🤦🏻‍♂️ Aircon on all the way? Probably better to get it transported over, if you intend to stay. If not hire an electric vehicle on arrival!
