Is it possible to have a UVPC door shaved off to accommodate a wood floor .? Or would I have to buy a new door ?

Pvc  doors   can  be  adjusted  up  or  down,  On  the  Hinges  side  on  under  side  of  hinge  on  the  frame   side  you  should  find  a  Allen head  screw  that  can  be  adjusted  up ,  it  on all  most  modern pvc  doors

Hope  that  helps

The answer is no, it can be adjusted within 5mm of the frame, but the door is hollow with insulation, so no chance of taking 10mm off the bottom. But you could get someone to take 10mm off the head of the frame and lift the whole frame up. Would be cheaper
