Hi I'm looking for a English speaking lawyer to help me with a dispute over my reform bathroom. Any recommendations please.

Try to come to an understanding. Even if you win a case you will have to wait for your compensation if you'll ever get it. Apart from a Lawyer you will most probably need an Attorney to be appointed before a Notary Public. Then, wait some 2 years for the hearing, all this costing a lot of money. And even if you win the case, your expenses are not automatically charged to the defendant. In any case ask the Lawyer for an estimate.

I think because I paid for the work into his mother-in- laws bank account, I maybe have the upper hand

Was he registered as Autonomo? Did you get a full official receipt and pay IVA? If not, apart from what others have said, you may end up getting fined yourself.

He speaks good English and his secretary is called Deborah who will probably answer the phone

He’s based near La Fuente. Used him for over 15 years now
