Hi everyone, I'm in the process of buying a place in Verdemar and sale due to close next month.  Just wondering if there are m/any Verdemar residents on this board and how you find living in the area, particularly outside high season ? Can't wait to pick up keys but a bit daunted about trying to furnish an apartment !! Thanks

Hi....

We came here in October 2016 firstly renting on Verdemar 111 then just across the road to Verdemar 1.

Our plan was to rent for a year to get a feel for the place, see if we liked it then buy !

We're now in the process of buying a lovely house in El Galan (just down the road) which we're really excited about!

The Verdemar is lovely ! Nice pools, nice people and generally well maintained.

Not overly busy in summer, quieter in winter but nice. La Fuente commercial centre is a short stroll away and open all year round.... Bars popular in low season... Fuegos,Eddys,Stray Sod,Evolution (can get a bit noisy at times with kids) Restaurants.... Chrystals,Interim, couple of nice Indian restaurants,Isabella's.

The plaza in Villamartin is mainly open all year and great place to visit !

Hope this helps.

            Regards Karen
