if the airport caI’m going back to the uk in February and was wondering if it best to park in the car park next to the airport or park on one of the off airport car par. If the airport parking is ok what is the cost per day(I need 10 days)and do you just drive and take a ticket and pay on exit or preboo.

Thanks for help

Don’t know your dates but 10 days at the airport parking is 80€

https://parking.aena.es/reservas/web/disponibilidad.ac

I use Eco parking. Same dates and times I put in is 36€

https://ecoparkingalicante.es/en/home/

There are lots of similar companies to Eco and they are all pretty good.

Hope this helps.

If you use the airport parking, long stay, then ensure you book online first. It is 80 euro for 10 days (99 euro in the P1) but just turning up without booking will cost over 250 euro. You book, enter your details, and pay on the way out.

If you just turn up without booking and then pay on the way out he higher price will be charged.

Umbrella paking in the open with shuttle back and forth will be 36 euro or 53 euro covered parking. You pay at the airport or save a couple of euro paying in advance.

We use Umbrella Parking, park take key with you, they take you to the airport about 5 mins away. On return ring while waiting for luggage, they are waiting outside where they dropped you off. They stop at the office you go in and pay, it’s about €3 per day. Go and collect car. Been using them for about 4 years now, no problems

I've used VIP Parking.  Prices are really cheap.  They meet you at the airport and take your car ehen leaving and they meet you at the airport with your car when you arrive.

I use Victoria Parking, but I am sure there are others as mentioned here, who all offer the same sort of service.

I used to use the airport short stay parking but stopped (a) because it became more and more expensive (b) it was a long walk to the Departures lounge and a pain having to go to the automatic payment machine on the way back and (c) it resembled a building site as renovations got underway, difficult to walk and drive through, with fences and concrete barriers everywhere, and there never seemed to be any progress, it was the same every time I went.

We switched from seguro to VIP after 10 years. So-far-so good
