We have flights booked from Belfast to Alicante on 2nd January. So, if anyone has any idea about how best to get a pre-flight test done in N Ireland, I'd love to hear it. The NY holiday doesn't help matters if it has to be posted.

Have a look at RANDOX.

I have to courier my test from Glasgow to Northern Ireland.

Jet 2 & TUI have partnered with RANDOX

I'll check them out, thanks. Did they tell you how long it takes?

Check out BOOTS ( chemist)

I realise that you’ve booked and paid for your flights but perhaps you could change them and fly out of DUBLIN as they are EXEMPT from the test.  It could work out cheaper all round.

No One is exempt from the test apart from a very small number of countries

No Boots in NI are providing it.
We are now thinking of rescheduling our existing flights and booking from Dublin instead - what a palaver this flying business has turned into! Or more accurately, I should say it is a business that is flying for the test providers...

If you are flying with Ryanair , you can change your flight but between the dates 16th December and 10th January, you will have to pay the fee for changing. If you are with EasyJet or Jet2 , change the dates for another holiday in the future and fly back with them.  great bus service from Europa to Airport. Think it’s free if you have a senior bus pass ( free to Newry if aged under 65 but if older, it should be free all the way to the airport door). Good luck.
