Pool heaters

Hi,

Can anyone recommend someone or a company who can fit a heat pump for a pool in The Villamartin area ?

I have been advised that this is the most economic way of heating a pool or at least extending the swimming season.

Hello Kevin

We also have a villa in Villamartin and used The Pool People to fit our swimming pool heat pump. It cost around 2350euros Plus 850euros for the cover. They should have a website. Speak to Steph.

How long ago did you get your heat pump fitted?

What's the size of your pool and what was the kW of the heat pump.

Have you found it benificial and would you recommend it?

Hello Kevin

To be honest, the heat pump was only fitted about 4 weeks ago so I can not tell you what its like. We are aiming to get over to Spain in October to try it out. I think our pool holds approx. 45 cubic meters of water. The heat pump that was recommended to me was the

Zodiac Z200 M4 (power 9). It is meant to be the most reliable. They do 2 different sizes. We looked at solar panels but we did not have enough pitched roof space where we have flat roof terraces. The solar is more expensive to supply and fit but has no running costs. The heat pump will have the usual electric running costs.
