Ordered some items from M & S es put the usual delivery address ( which is the post shop in Villamartin) I had an email to confirm delivery would be Friday 9th September, when checked the tracking it had been updated to show an " incident" it appears that someone at SEUR changed the correct delivery address in Villamartin to an address in Torrevieja, this is a first for me and deeply concerning. So I have no idea where this parcel is. Will be interesting to hear how M & S sort this mess out.

SEUR run timed deliveries alongside deliveries destined to be delivered at anytime during the day. If the timed deliveries aren’t delivered on time the driver is fined, so if they have too many non timed deliveries that will hold them up, they don’t attempt any more deliveries in that area and the consignment is left on the van and marked  up on tracking as an incident. Sometimes the drivers can be held up with traffic jams or most likely in  this area, trying to find the house number.

I had a few “incidents” and they are usually delivered the next day.

The address in Torrevieja could be a  SEUR collection/drop off point and the driver has left them there for safekeeping. If that’s the case you will get an email asking you if you want the parcel delivered or they will give you a code for collection.

Whoever altered the address has left part of the correct address but overridden Villamartin with Torrevieja?? Plus the wrong post code, this can only have been done by someone working for SEUR. I have complained to M & S and told them I want to know why the address was changed from the correct address to an incorrect one.

That’s why I thought it may be a collection point.  Does the tracking allow you to pinpoint the exact address in Torrevieja . Perhaps the Post Shop in Villamartin was closed when they attempted delivery

The  one I had if I remember rightly showed up as an address in Guardamar, but just as a house number and street. When I googled the house number, it was actually a shop, which was a SEUR point, but that wasn’t t crystal clear when I received the updated tracking message.

If it’s still an incident it’s not been delivered,  I would expect you will get a message tomorrow to say it’s out for delivery again to the post shop.

I'm going to let M & S sort it out my contract is with them not SEUR so it's up to M & S to ensure it's delivered or give me my money back.

Hi TP20,

Something similar happened to my M&S delivery in August.  I was able to track it's journey, via their logistics partner, Global-E, from the UK to Germany, then to Alicante, then to Seur's local distribution centre in Catral - at which point, an "incident" occurred and they returned my undelivered parcel to the UK!

When I complained to M&S Customer Services, I said I wanted a refund and I would not consider reordering the items, until I had one.  They did this immediately and the refund was in my bank account the next day.  They also offered me, as a goodwill gesture, a €15 voucher to spend on Express delivery, because they're delivered by FedEx, via a different route.  I did this and received my goods within 4 days.

M&S never did come back to me with an explanation for the "incident" that prompted the return of my original parcel 🤷‍♀️

Kind regards,

Kim

You should be aware that SEUR is the worst delivery company on the planet.  Do not expect your parcel because it will either be lost or stolen by this cowboy outfit   Best of luck!

Hi Richard,

My second bad experience with Seur was also in August, our first year in Spain.  Having waited at home for 4 days for an M&S parcel, Seur kept updating their tracking at 4.30 pm each afternoon, saying they had attempted to deliver, but there was no-one at home.  Nonsense, of course and in the end I had to go to a photography studio in Rojales Town centre, which was one of Seur's drop points, to collect my parcel.

During the course of trying to locate my parcel, M&S confided that Seur's local depot had admitteded to using contract drivers during the summer holidays and they don't necessarily have SatNavs in their vehicles - no wonder they couldn't find us!  But rather than admit it was their problem, it appeared to be easier to report that the customer wasn't at home 😳

Kind regards,

Kim
