Just booked an appointment at suma office La Zenia.

Dose that mean I can now go straight in and go to the digital desk without any queuing.

Just like a doctor, dentist or any other pre-booked appointment you will have been given a date and time. Therefore you can expect to be attended to at the scheduled time. The following link will provide you with more information and ensure you scroll down and click on the more info tab where you will find the documents you need to bring with you:

I did that through my bank, no need to go to SUMA.

Your bank can arrange standing orders to all your supplies, taxes, etc.

Cheers, J

What information would be needed by the bank to pay the Suma local tax as I don't have a bill with a tax number on it?

In which case go to SUMA. If you set up a direct debit they will do it for all your local taxes, IBI, car tax, bin tax and anything else all in one go.

If you already have a direct debit for anything then our SUMA office sets them all up automatically so imagine your one will as well but it always pays to ensure it's been done.

Reference the car tax, you can check on this site SUMA payments to see if it's been set up but only during the periods when the car tax is due which is 5th March to 15th May this year.

The bank will require a reference number for each individual payment, by phone may need a Spanish speaker, online will require the reference number as well. Just do it all in one go at the SUMA to make it easier.
