UPVC windows and doors

Hi all

Has anyone recently had the original windows and balcony doors replaced with uPVC units in a 2 bed 1 bathroom townhouse? I'm on Valencias 1 in Villamartin.

Would it be possible to give me an idea on cost? The original wooden windows are over 35 years old now so well past their sell by date!

I'm thinking around €3-4k, would I be in the right ball park or miles off? 2 of our windows (bathroom and stairs window are arched).

I had in June last year, 3 x 2100 x 1180 patio doors and 2 x 1190 x 1160 windows replaced with double glazed Aluminium white frames, I am on the understanding upvc frames and colours are available, all included built in shutters, fly screens and builders installation = 3 of the replacements included squaring of the arched frames (so no arched doors or windows now) this work took 2 days, Total price including IVA = 3590 euro. I can recommend this company based in Torrevieja, check out

Orlando the owner speaks some English and is reliable, but not sure about working in the Villamartin area? but may be worth a try contacting him.

Just don't use C&G in Los dolses, poor workmanship, aggressive when told, came to our house with abusive language towards my husband, wo incidentally is 70 and in bad health.

They also accused us of under paying by 100 euros despite having their invoice to prove payment.

Not nice people, thugs would be a better description.

Hi,

you should write a review on google of your experience. When I googled C&G Los Dolses their reviews are all 5 star and people seem extremely happy with them.

I dont think it's that simple H ,judging by the description given of the company the poster may not wish to put herself at any risk from the company, she has given her experience of the company on here ,people may wish to heed or ignore her experience ,after all you can lead a horse to water

I can see that point of view. The coverage on here is not as extensive as google but then you have to put your name onto a google review as they do not allow anonymous reviews as there is no accountability.

But as you say, you can heed or ignore advice given.
