Many thanks  this is really helpful  where did you get your heated panels for the living room and bedroom?  If you don't mind me asking were they expensive to purchase?

Thanks again for your help

Kind regards

Sue

Thanks Pete  we know where Leroys is but not where AKI are.  Could you let us know where are situated.  Sorry for all the questions but we are fairly new to the area.

Really appreciate your help.

Many thanks Pete this is a big help.

Will pop out tomoz to get them  we moved out here last year and did not find it cold but the bedding feels damp when you get into bed this year so think the heater is a good idea to take the chill out of the rooms .

Many thanks again.

Sue, my wife wouldn't be without an electric blanket. It solved the damp bedding feel.

Pete, do these need hard wiring...or do they plug in?

Hi Guys, just reading about the 400 watt heating panels, I bought 5 from Leroy Merlin in Elche just before Christmas, on offer at 39 euros.  I also have 2 at my apartment back home in the Isle of Man, and they are great as a secondary form of heating, and will keep your place comfortably warm once you have pre heated it with a main source of heating.  Have a look on Leroy Merlin website, they also offer 500, 600, 750 and 800 watt heaters, It may be worthwhile considering at least one of the higher wattage heaters, especially if one of the areas to be heated is larger than the rest.  I have a 3 bed Julia in La Marina, have put one in front bedroom, rear bedroom, one in hallway between the bedrooms and one in the living room, keeps the place comfortably warm.
